PYTHON Fixings has developed a range of products to facilitate structural connections into a wide variety of masonry substrates. This includes extensive applications for earthquake strengthening and remedial work with existing masonry buildings. The Python range of fixings has led to vast improvements across the construction industry - enabling more effective and reliable retrofits to be utilised while reducing the time and cost of construction.
Python Screws
PYTHON MT Fixings are a purposely designed, seismically tested and fully mechanical structural system for connecting steel and timber members onto brick, concrete block and soft stone masonry. This connection has been proven to be superior and more reliable to epoxy anchorage. It boasts a quick installation without the need for specialist equipment, and exhibits a high resistance to earthquake loads.
PYTHON C Fixings enables more efficient remedial and earthquake retrofit designs by effectively integrating cavity wall leafs, and inducing composite out-of-plane behavior. The use of the PYTHON C system as an out-of-plane strengthening technique for brick masonry cavity walls has undergone world’s most extensive full scale semi-static cyclic and dynamic testing using best practice research methods.
PYTHON HC Fixings are purposely designed structural connection for hollowcore and dycore slabs. Proudly engineered in New Zealand in response to the observations and subsequent research conducted following the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake.
All PYTHON products are engineered and tested in New Zealand.
